A dripping faucet is a worn cartridge, seat or O-ring in nearly every case, and the repair depends on the brand and vintage of the valve. We identify the trim, fit the correct cartridge, and clear mineral scale off the seat so the new part is not chewed up within a year. Merrimack Valley water leaves noticeable scale, which is why a rebuilt faucet can fail early if the seat is never cleaned.
Low flow at one fixture only
If pressure is fine everywhere else, the restriction is local: a clogged aerator, a partly closed or corroded supply stop, or debris caught in the cartridge after work elsewhere on the system. That is a short diagnostic and an inexpensive repair, and it is worth ruling out before anyone talks about repiping.
Leaks under the sink
Cabinet leaks come from the trap slip joints, the tailpiece, the supply connections, or the strainer basket seal at the sink itself. Each one drips in a different place, so we dry the cabinet, run water, and watch where it starts. Old chrome traps that have thinned to pinholes get replaced rather than re-taped.
Strainers, disposals and sink replacement
We reset leaking strainer baskets, replace failed garbage disposals, and reconnect drains and supplies when a countertop or sink is being swapped. Where the work touches the drainage system it is done to the Massachusetts plumbing code, 248 CMR 10.00.
